The region is increasingly grabbing the green energy

Banja Luka was a place of key people from the solar energy world this year. The Balkan Solar Summit 2025 , which took place from February 26 to 28, once again confirmed its importance as a leading regional event dedicated to renewable energy sources, with special emphasis on solar technology.

This year's summit brought together over 1,500 participants from more than 15 countries - from manufacturers of equipment and load -bearing systems, through developers and investors, to representatives of institutions and academic communities. Through panels, technical presentations and concrete examples from practice, the main message was clear: the region has potential, but also more and more knowledge and capacity to use this potential.

Emerus among prominent participants

Emerus , domestic aluminum profiles and solar system construction, also contributed The company presented solutions developed for the European market-especially previously assembled (Pre-Assembled) structures that allow for faster and easier assembly on the field, whether it is roof or floor systems.

Emerus profiles are made from quality aluminum alloys, with an emphasis on load -bearing capacity, time -consuming and weather resistance, and can be adapted to different types of projects and background. A series of concrete conversations with potential partners took place at the booth, and the technical team was ready to answer any questions related to the dimensioning and design of the system.

In addition to the exhibition space, we also monitored professional discussions, especially the topics related to the importance of local production and sustainable supply chains within Europe.

Summit conclusions

The Balkan Solar Summit 2025 once again showed how relevant the energy transition topic is and how much the profession is ready to give specific solutions. The need for a faster adjustment of the legislative frame, the better education of the technical staff and the strengthening of domestic equipment production, was emphasized.

The conclusion is clear - the solar energy market in the Balkans is developing, and space for cooperation and growth is huge . Events such as this are crucial to connecting experts, exchange of experiences and concretization of projects that change the energy image of the region.
