The region is increasingly moving towards green energy
Banja Luka was once again the meeting place for key people from the world of solar energy this year. The Balkan Solar Summit 2025 , which took place from 26 to 28 February, once again confirmed its importance as the leading regional event dedicated to renewable energy sources, with a special emphasis on solar technology.
This year's Summit brought together over 1,500 participants from more than 15 countries – from equipment and wearable system manufacturers, developers and investors, to representatives of institutions and academia. Through panels, technical presentations and concrete examples from practice, the main message was clear: the region has potential, but also more and more knowledge and capacity to exploit that potential.
Emerus among prominent participants
Emerus also contributed . The company presented solutions developed for the European market – in particular pre-assembled structures that enable faster and easier installation on site, whether it is roof or floor systems.

Summit Conclusions
The Balkan Solar Summit 2025 once again demonstrated how relevant the topic of energy transition is and how ready the profession is to provide concrete solutions. The need for faster adaptation of the legislative framework, better education of technical personnel and strengthening domestic equipment production was highlighted.
The conclusion is clear – the solar energy market in the Balkans is developing, and the space for cooperation and growth is enormous . Events like this are key to connecting experts, exchanging experiences, and concretizing projects that change the energy landscape of the region.
