The thermal bridge is a technique that enables the interruption of heat transfer through architectural aluminum profiles using thermal switches, in our case, polyamide strips of different dimensions (14.8 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 28.6 mm, 31.6 mm). Polyamide tapes withstand high-temperature powder plasticization and anodization and have an extremely thin structure that is resistant to tearing, abrasion and aging effects. They insulate more than 500 times better than aluminum, resulting in significantly lower Uf-values for thermal break profiles.
Dimensions that we can combine in our Thermal Bridge department include:
Maximum possible profile height of 250 mm
Maximum possible profile width of 250 mm
The smallest possible distance between two polyamide strips on the profile of 8 mm
The minimum possible height of polyamide is 14.5 mm
Profiles that are made at an angle are not compatible with our machine
The height of the teeth for the reception should be approximately 3 mm
Our use of low lambda (λ) polyamide with a value of 0.21 W/mK allows us to achieve high standards of thermal insulation in our systems. Our thermal conductivity results are:
Facades: 0,7
Windows and doors with broken thermal bridge: 1.1 (PE85tt)
Sliding doors: 1,0
